Step 1: Purchase a Virtual Storage subscription

If you’re an existing Telstra cloud customer, you can order Virtual storage using your Telstra username and password.

 

If you’re not a Telstra cloud customer yet, view our registration options (to purchase any of our cloud services, you must have an Australian Business Number).

 

Once you submit your Virtual Storage order, we’ll email you to confirm when the subscription is activated.

 

Step 2: Configure your service on the Virtual Storage NetApp portal

 

Step 3: Set up your Virtual Storage connection to Cloud Gateway

In order to proceed with the purchase of Virtual Storage, it’s important we make you aware that you’ll also need Telstra’s Cloud Gateway.

Cloud Gateway is used to provide a simple, scalable and secure connection to your Virtual Storage service from your Telstra IP network service.

If you already have Cloud Gateway with us, once you purchase Virtual Storage you can simply add a Cloud Gateway connection to it. Remember, you can also share your Cloud Gateway bandwidth across the other cloud services you add to Cloud Gateway.

 

Once this connection is made, we’ll email you to confirm that your Virtual Storage service has been activated and billing has commenced.
