Buy a virtual server on shared compute plan online

With authorisation to buy, you can purchase virtual server on shared compute plans through this website at any time.

 

Australian customers

Step 1: Choose a virtual server plan 

Compare our plans and choose a virtual server plan to suit your business needs.

 When you're happy with your selection, go to 'checkout'.

 

Step 2: Sign in or register 

To place the order, you'll be asked to enter your login details or register for a new account. 

Existing Telstra customers 

If you're an existing Telstra Business and Enterprise customer register for online access.

Or contact your Telstra representative on 1300 835 787 for additional support. 

New Telstra customers

Register for a Telstra username and password. Ensure you have an active email and mobile number. 

Once registered your username and password will be limited to purchasing virtual server plans and accessing the management console. 

Step 3: Provide technical contact details 

You'll need to provide contact details for someone who can answer any technical questions. If this isn't you, then you need to organise a technical contact to speak on your behalf.

 

Step 4: Place your order 

The order will be charged to your existing Telstra account.

Existing Telstra customers 

If you have a business ID attached to your login credentials, you'll need to be a Cloud Authorised Purchaser to buy a virtual server plan.

The Cloud Authorised Purchaser role can be granted through the Telstra Business ‘My Account’ or Telstra Enterprise & Government 'Your Telstra Tools' portals by your company's authorised representative. 

New Telstra customers 

You'll need to provide company details such as a valid ABN and an Australian address. You'll also need to provide a mobile number. We'll send you a SMS PIN which you'll need to use to validate your new Telstra account. 

If we can't get in contact with you using the number(s) you provided when you first set up your account, your access to the Cloud Services management console and your virtual servers will be suspended until we hear from you. 

Step 5: Order confirmation 

We'll send you a confirmation email once your account has been activated. 

We'll then let you know when everything is up and running. 

You can buy virtual server plans, extra storage, internet usage and a data import service online.

 

International customers

Step 1: Contact Telstra Global 

Email or call the Telstra Global customer service team. 

They'll help you choose a cloud solution to suit your individual needs. 

 

Step 2: Get authorisation to buy and provide a technical contact

We'll provide you with a username and password so that you can make further purchases online.

You'll need to provide contact details for someone who can answer any technical questions. If this isn't you, then you need to organise a technical contact to speak on your behalf.

 

Step 3: Place your order 

The order will be charged to your existing or new Telstra Global account.

 

Step 4: Order confirmation 

We'll send you a confirmation email when the order is completed.

 

Get a Telstra username and password

Existing customers without online access can request a username and password here.

Or contact your Telstra representative.

 

How to buy virtual server add-ons

Some virtual server add-ons can be requested through the management console, which you get access to once you sign up to one of our virtual server plans.

Choose from a range or virtual server add-ons, such as a Telstra private network, price-competitive applications, as well as network and security features.
