Why is Telstra increasing prices?


Microsoft have announced that they will be changing their prices in the Australian market to align to global pricing standards. Due to this, Telstra will also be increasing the prices for these products. We will make a price preview available as soon as possible on https://www.telstra.com.au/business-enterprise/solutions/cloud-services/public-cloud/microsoft-azure... with new prices for Microsoft Azure services taking effect January 1 2019.

Azure in CSP:


Other than Azure Reserved Instance (RI), our pricing is under the ‘pay-as-you-go’ model with the benefit of no minimum purchase requirements.


When will the pricelists be available?


A preview of the pricing guide will be available as soon as possible and these new prices will take effect on January 1, 2019.


How does this price increase impact customers with Azure Reserved Instance (RI) or planning to purchase an Azure Reserved Instance (RI)?


The price changes will have no impact on individual RI agreements that have already been charged. Azure RI prices will adjust on January 1, 2019 for customers at the end of their fixed term RI agreement and for all new or additional orders.
