The goal of this document is to educate and assist wireless application developers to produce applications that are user, network and device friendly. The aim is to provide guidelines to developers that will enhance user experience (for instance by suggesting ideas to minimize battery use, minimize unnecessary data usage and make apps appear more responsive), ensure inter-operability with the Telstra network and consequently reduce the harmful impacts of poorly designed applications. In summary the document hopes to
